Advanced Pulmonary Care and Ventilator Program

For children unable to breathe for themselves, VPF offers an alternative to acute care hospitalization: a cutting edge ventilator program. Our program offers innovative and advanced options for mechanical ventilation and airway clearance. We specialize in non-invasive ventilation, ventilator weaning, and decannulation. Both community outings and discharge to home are goals we can work toward.

For those children who require constant supervison, such as children with critical airways, our program offers two four-bed units with continuous presence of nursing and respiratory care practitioners.
