Medical Day Center
The Medical Day Center at Voorhees Pediatric Facility provides a customized therapeutic array of services for children with special medical needs from birth through five years of age.
Our medical day care center offers parents the peace of mind brought about by a day care program staffed by health care professionals who are expertly trained in the care of children with both subacute and chronic conditions. Our center is fully equipped and staffed to accommodate children who require the support of ventilators, tracheostomies, oxygen therapy, and feeding tubes, or who have other special medical needs.
Supportive therapies, respiratory care, educational programming, and door-to-door transportation are also provided.
Fully licensed and approved by the Department of Health, our well-rounded, expertly managed program benefits both children and families with the highest standards of pediatric specialized care.

Within the first five days of attendance in our day center program, our team of specialists will take an active role in setting goals and developing a plan of care for each child. We will review each child's progress and work with families to develop specific goals and interventions.
Our staff understand the importance of excellence in medical, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care, as well as the value of warmth and nurturing. We realize that the self-esteem, self-confidence, and small triumphs of a child are often brought about by plenty of encouragement, hugs, and smiles. We also provide toy-filled rooms, onsite playgrounds, daily art, music, and recreational programs, as well as field trips. Our goal is to help each child reach his or her potential safely, in a fun-filled and caring program.
